About Us

In business since 1994, Town & Country Antiques - owned by Joe and Anne Bielstein - is located in The Antique Pavilion in the River Oaks / Upper Kirby area of Houston, Texas.    We make several buying trips each year, primarily to England, to personally select antiques for our shop.   With the contacts we have made in the antiques trade over the past 25 years of collecting and selling antiques, we can also source items that you may be interested in acquiring.

We have participated over the years in numerous antiques shows in Texas, Illinois and Florida, but currently concentrate our activities on our booths in The Antique Pavilion.  Items from our selection have been featured in the Houston Chronicle and we participated in March 2009 on a show about antiques on ‘Great Day Houston’ on Channel 13.   We were also proud contributors for the book ‘Antique Boxes, Tea Caddies, & Society: 1700-1880’ by Antigone Clarke & Joseph O’Kelly, published by Schiffer.

Joe and Anne have resided in Houston since 1985 and are both native Texans.  They have been members of the Houston Antiques Dealers Association (HADA) since 2001.  Anne served as HADA Secretary for several terms and is currently By-Laws Chairperson.
